Im Sick and Tired of...(circa 2009)

...people who do nothing but talk about other people.

...Filipinos at the mall who deny that they are Filipinos even though you overheard them speaking in Tagalog. Such plastics!

...the cold weather. It makes me feel like I don't live in Florida at all.

...taxes. But I'm glad I don't live in California. They're taxed way worse than us here in Florida.

...Hollywood movies that have hidden "political" messages. i.e. Avatar.

...friends who migrated here from other countries (to look for better opportunities) but have the nerve to say that Americans are selfish. Well, guess what?! Go back to your own country...or go to China, North Korea, Cuba or Venezuela. That way you'll know what "selfish" really means!

...politicians who can't seem to make up their minds. No wonder they get nothing done when their terms are over.

...the Philippine Government. "Graft and Corruption" seems to be one of the few things our politicians are experts of. I would like to believe that there's still hope but I don't really know.

...the Universal Health Care issue. Canada and Europe have the same health care system that Obama is trying to pass here in the US; and, it didn't work for them...plus the fact that 70% of Americans don't want the UHC bill to pass. So, why shove it? Why not solve the economic problems first and talk about health care later? But then again, that's just my opinion.

And lastly, I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.

I have had lots of "ups" and "downs" the last few years. But what can I say? Isn't that what life is all about? Challenges are meant to make us stronger, not weaker. But of course, that depends on how we respond to those challenges. This world is cruel to the ones who give up and refuse to fight back, but rewards greatly those who endure until the end. So, no matter how big your predicaments are, do not ever give up. The grass isn't always greener on the other side.
